Bookmarks is a Chrome extension that replaces the New Tab page and displays bookmark links from your bookmarks bar.

## Data We Access

- Bookmarks data (`bookmarks` permission): used to read and display bookmark titles and URLs.
- Favicon data (`favicon` permission): used to show each site's favicon on bookmark cards.
- Local extension storage (`storage` permission): used to save your custom card order after drag-and-drop reordering.

## How Data Is Used

- Data is used only to render your new tab experience and persist your local layout preference.
- Data is not sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.
- Data is not used for advertising or profiling.

## Data Storage and Transmission

- Bookmark order preferences are stored locally in Chrome extension storage.
- The extension does not send your bookmarks or stored preferences to an external server.
